When bailing rounds or squares it is easy to lose the crop if you are bailing it with I high moisture content which will be anything above 20%, the bail will go mouldy and becomes a waist of time have said that is your bail has a moisture content less that 10% you may as well feed your livestock chips because the bail is dead and has no protein or nutrients left in it, so when bailing the ideal bail is around 16 to 18% of moisture.
