Well, there’s nothing really innovative about how we bale, but here are a few things we do to make the job of baling easier.
After we’ve finished up baling a large field, we collect our bales into rows of 34 bales at several locations in the field. As we like to get our bales back to the bale yard as soon as we can, it may mean hauling bales into the late night. Having the bales located in wagon/trailer sized lots in the field saves having to chase bales throughout the field in the middle of the night, when even with the very best lights can be a little crazy.
